What began as a business trip in breathtaking Jamaica, ended up changing my life forever!
I met my husband, best friend and soul mate Sheldon.
We were living in Toronto for several years and decided to start a family in Brampton.
We moved in 2015 and the loneliness of moving to a new city, no family around me and being a first time mom all became overwhelming!
I decided to do something about it and created the Brampton Moms Facebook group in 2015. If you're a mom and not a member yet, you MUST join!
Years later, +11K members, the mamas and I created a community for moms. This community not only allowed me to navigate motherhood in a mentally healthy way but also blessed my family and I with lifelong friendships.
Not sure who needs to hear this but if you're a mom, no matter of where you live, know this... your kids love you no matter what! You created them and love them. They love you back. Practice self-compassion and self-love. We all feel down sometimes and personally having a support system through the Brampton Moms has helped me be the best version of myself!
